Bob Dolby - Chief Executive Officer

Robert Dolby began a life long interest in aviation as a child of seven after a ride in a Piper Cub. His passion for aviation grew through his teen years in the Civil Air Patrol and ultimately he obtained his private pilot's license as a college senior at the Ohio State University. Although he studied for a career in the Foreign Service at Ohio State, his love of aviation led him to accept a commission in the US Air Force where he immediately entered pilot training.

During his Air Force career, Bob flew the B-47, KC-135 and the world record holding, Mach 2, B-58 Hustler. He was an instructor pilot in each of these planes. He was augmented into the Regular Air Force and promoted to the rank of Major. He served three tours in Viet Nam and was the Operations Officer and Chief Instructor Pilot of the largest KC-135 Squadron in Strategic Air Command. At the invitation of some retiring senior officers, he accepted a position of Senior Vice President of Colorado Western Development and resigned from the Air Force. During his real estate development career; he built an award winning office building; was Executive Vice President of a ski area development near Aspen; and, helped develop a Mexican beach resort. An investment advisory firm in an office building Bob developed formed a partnership with Bob's development company. As a result of this association Bob spent several years traveling the world appearing at financial seminars and doing appearances on talk radio. Bob concluded his development career by building a villa project on a TPC golf course in Sarasota, Florida, the city where he resides today.

His abiding interests in aviation and sales led him to found Aviation Advisors Int'l and serve as its CEO for the last twenty years. During those years, he has developed a global network of friends, customers and colleagues who have been instrumental in facilitating contracts and mandates with both governments and airlines world wide. He and his firm are headquartered at Dolphin Aviation in Sarasota, Fl. From this vantage point Bob is able to reach out to all points of the globe in order to buy or sell for his clients.
